Hill-top Castello

Historical castello located in the heart of the Chianti Classico region, the perfect location for holidays, wine experiences and weddings.
During the Middle Ages, the castle was crucial for the defence of Florence during its feuds with the city of Siena. Later on, it became an exclusive Manor House of the Renaissance period when it reached its peak hosting various famous artists who stayed at the castle, including Leonardo da Vinci who stayed there while he was painting his masterpiece, the Monnalisa.
